AI Enablement & Product Manager
Location: Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the Leeds office. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role.
Ideal Start Date: December 2026 or January 2027

Salary: £75,000 - 80,000
Purpose of Role
The AI Enablement and Product Manager is a 12-month contract or FTC role responsible for accelerating the responsible, measurable adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI agents across the Fund. The postholder will identify priority business needs, shape feasible use cases with technical and governance colleagues, support controlled delivery from discovery to operational adoption, and evidence business benefits.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead structured discovery with business functions to identify where Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI agents could improve decisions, information flows, productivity, and control.
- Challenge proposed solutions, test assumptions, and identify the underlying business problem before recommending AI-enabled delivery activity.
- Act as product lead for prioritized AI initiatives, maintaining requirements, priorities, acceptance criteria, user feedback, outcome measures, and non-functional considerations such as security, auditability, resilience, and supportability, while architects, engineers, and suppliers retain responsibility for solution design and engineering delivery.
- Support Copilot and AI agent products from discovery and validation through prototype, pilot, evaluation, scaling, operational adoption, and transition to business ownership.
- Design proportionate experiments, user research, and testing to validate business need, usability, colleague trust, adoption barriers, and benefits and agreed outcomes.
- Track Copilot adoption and benefits, including active and sustained usage, productivity, quality, cycle time, colleague confidence, user experience, and relevant risk or control indicators.
- Coordinate adoption activity that supports the product pipeline, working across business, technology, data, risk, governance, Commercial, Finance, AI Champions, and the AI Community of Practice.

Essential Skills
- Experience in product management, transformation, service design, or digital business analysis, with demonstrable experience taking Microsoft AI use cases from structured discovery and prototyping through to adoption in operational use.
- Practical experience designing, implementing, and scaling Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent Builder, or AI agent solutions in a medium or large enterprise, including adoption, governance, and benefits realization.
- Working technical literacy in enterprise AI, automation, or digital delivery, including the ability to understand knowledge sources, system dependencies, access controls, integration options, technical constraints, and non-functional requirements sufficiently to shape feasible AI use cases with architects, engineers, data, and security colleagues.
- Ability to challenge assumptions, define underlying business problems, and identify where AI agents, automation, or process redesign can deliver the greatest organizational value.
- Ability to prioritize opportunities using value, feasibility, and risk.
- Strong cross-functional facilitation and communication skills, with experience working across business and technology teams to overcome delivery barriers, secure business buy-in, and implement sustainable solutions.

Desirable Skills
- Experience in financial services, investment, public sector, or another regulated environment.
- Knowledge of Power Platform, Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, or related Microsoft technologies.
- Supplier and commercial experience, including working with delivery partners, shaping statements of work, managing supplier inputs, or supporting value-for-money assessment.
- AI-specific qualifications, certifications, or formal training.
