About the Job

As an AI Engagement Manager, you serve as the delivery interface between our AI Factory and Allianz Operating Entities (OEs). Partnering closely with Heads of IT (HoITs), Account Managers, and Local/Global service teams, you translate OE pain points into fundable delivery engagements and steer multiple projects in parallel. You proactively shape and secure demand by making AI Factory capabilities visible early, matching Minimum Viable Solutions (MVS) and reusable assets to real problems, and converting these into funded engagements before OEs look externally.

What you do

As the primary AI delivery interface for assigned OEs, you partner closely with HoITs, Account Managers, and Local/Global service teams to shape and execute demand.

  • Qualify & shape OE/Group pain points into deliverable project charters, roadmaps, and business cases; converting qualified opportunities into funded engagements.
  • Orchestrate multiple AI Factory engagements in parallel, transferring patterns, learnings, and reusable components (MVS reuse) across OEs.
  • Ensure AI Factory capabilities are visible early through discovery workshops, value hypothesis mapping, and reuse assessments to accelerate time-to-value.
  • Define right-sized deliverables and milestones; cut or adjust scope pragmatically to protect value, timelines, and budget.
  • Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to align backlog, delivery plan, risks, and dependencies; remove blockers and escalate with facts and options.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and expectations across OE leadership, HoITs and service owners; ensure alignment from discovery to go-live.
  • Own the build-to-run handover (including support models, SLAs/OLAs, runbooks, MLOps/monitoring) and maintain the OE relationship post go-live.

What you bring

  • Proven experience in steering IT delivery or IT programs and translating business problems into delivered software in large, matrix organizations ideally in insurance or other regulated environments. Knowledge of Allianz Group & Allianz Technology is a plus.
  • Solid communication and stakeholder management with the ability to influence and guide leadership through technical and decision-making conversations through strategic roadmaps, milestones, and refined scope of work when required.
  • Experienced in demand shaping and delivery conversion: discovery, value hypothesis definition, scoping, solution framing, and turning opportunities into funded work (SoW/proposals).
  • Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills across OE/HoIT leadership, technical teams, and security/compliance; ability to own relationships beyond delivery and into run.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, taking ownership, driving clarity in build-up environment to turn ideas into reality.
  • A degree in business, management, technology, IT, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English
  • Solid knowledge of AI technologies, agentic principles, and their practical use

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
