About The Role
167 Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join its dynamic, AI-focused team on a remote basis within the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a developer passionate about building innovative AI-driven products and solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications utilizing TypeScript and AWS cloud services. The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, AI integration, and iterative development, allowing the engineer to experiment with new ideas and contribute to the evolution of the company's AI offerings. The position provides a unique chance to be at the forefront of Generative AI and data-driven product development, working in a fast-paced environment that encourages creativity, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of commercial software development experience
- Proficiency in full-stack development with TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB
- Proven track record of rapid prototyping and AI-assisted workflows
- Familiarity in AI, Generative AI, and data projects
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
- Proactive, adaptable individual who thrives in an Agile environment
- Ability to work hybrid from Bristol
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications leveraging TypeScript for both front-end and back-end components.
- Architect and maintain scalable, cloud-native solutions on AWS to support AI-driven functionalities.
- Rapidly prototype new ideas, leveraging AI and Generative AI tools to accelerate development cycles ("vibe coding").
- Integrate AI, Generative AI, and data-driven features into existing and new products to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Participate actively in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative delivery cycles.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data specialists to translate concepts into working software solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and demonstrate progress through regular demos.
- Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, contributing to peer reviews and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Continuously explore emerging tools, frameworks, and AI capabilities to improve development velocity and product quality.
- Take ownership of features from conception to production, including ongoing iteration and refinement.
