We're working with a rapidly expanding technology firm that specialises in cutting-edge artificial intelligence and data engineering solutions.
They are dedicated to transforming innovative AI research into secure, scalable production systems, empowering businesses with intelligent products at scale.
The Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AI data pipelines and processing workflows.
- Architect cloud-native backend systems and distributed AI services.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to productionise Machine Learning and NLP models.
- Develop high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices for AI model serving.
- Drive system reliability, monitoring, observability, and performance optimisation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture decisions and technology strategy.

What You'll Need
- 5+ years of commercial experience in AI, Machine Learning, Backend, or Data Engineering.
- Expert-level Python development experience.
- Experience productionising Machine Learning, NLP, or Generative AI models.
- Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with performant relational database solutions.
- Commercial experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes.

What's On Offer
- Competitive salary between £65,000 - £80,000 per year.
- Remote-first role with flexibility to work anywhere in the UK, with optional hybrid working in London.
