About The Role

167 Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join their innovative team remotely, primarily serving clients within the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a developer passionate about AI, Generative AI, and data-driven solutions to work at the forefront of technological advancements. The successful candidate will be involved in designing, developing, and deploying full-stack applications using TypeScript and AWS, with a focus on rapid prototyping and AI integration. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record in full-stack development using TypeScript. A solid understanding of cloud computing, particularly AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB, is essential. Experience with rapid prototyping workflows, AI, Generative AI, and data projects is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like React or Next.js, and knowledge of AI APIs and frameworks such as OpenAI or LangChain, will be advantageous. The ability to work in an Agile environment and adapt to evolving project requirements is critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications utilizing TypeScript across both front-end and back-end components.
  • Architect, implement, and maintain cloud-native solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Rapidly prototype new ideas and proofs of concept, leveraging AI and Generative AI tools to accelerate delivery ("vibe coding").
  • Integrate AI, Generative AI, and data-driven features into existing and new products to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Participate actively in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative development cycles.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to translate concepts into functional software solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and demonstrate progress through presentations and demos.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, contributing to code reviews and best practices.
  • Continuously explore new tools, frameworks, and AI capabilities to improve development velocity and product quality.
  • Take ownership of features from conception through to production, including iteration and refinement based on user feedback.
