AI Engineer
London | Outside IR35
£450-£600 per day
The Company
They are a well-established retail business investing significantly in data, AI, and cloud technologies. Their focus is on leveraging AI to enhance customer experiences, improve operational efficiency, and create innovative digital products. You will join a collaborative team working on cutting-edge AI initiatives with clear business impact.
The Role and Deliverables
- Design, develop, and deploy AI applications and machine learning solutions.
- Build and maintain scalable AI pipelines and production-ready systems.
- Develop solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI technologies.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver AI-driven products.
- Optimise the performance, reliability, and scalability of AI applications.
- Support the development of AI engineering best practices and deployment processes.

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience developing and deploying AI or machine learning applications.
- Advanced Python development skills.
- Experience working with LLMs, generative AI frameworks, and prompt engineering.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with APIs, containerisation technologies, and production deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to a range of stakeholders.
