Role: AI Engineer (Automation)
Salary: Up to £50,000
Technology - MS Stack - Data Factory, Copilot, Fabric
Location: Yorkshire
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office.
The Role:
We are looking for an AI and Automation Engineer for a long-standing client in Yorkshire.
The role will focus on applying proven automation techniques while progressively adopting modern AI, agent-based and data-driven approaches. In this role you will solve real-world problems using AI and Automation.
The position reports to the Head of Data and will work alongside Business Intelligence and Data Engineer functions.
Please note - this is not a remote position, it is hybrid in the office, 2 days a week but there is quite a lot of flexibility to that, there might also be some travel within the UK.

Responsibilities:
- Design, Build and Support AI Solutions
- Build Data Integrations - connecting a variety of systems across the business
- Apply copilot and other automation solutions
- Work with Data Warehousing and Data Platforms (Data Factory / Fabric)
- Set good standards of data practices
- Translate business problems into technical solutions and partner with the rest of the IT division and other stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can add value
Requirements:
- MS Technology Stack - Databricks, Fabric, Copilot etc.
- Exposure to traditional automation techniques (RPA)
- Data Warehousing and Data Platform experience (Data Factory, Fabric or similar)
- Strong understanding of Data Governance
