AI Engineer
Location: London (Hybrid, 2-3 days in office)
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000
This is an opportunity to join a newly established AI product team building real-world GenAI solutions that are deployed into production and used by end users. You'll work in a small, highly collaborative environment where engineers have genuine ownership and can shape both technical direction and product outcomes.

The Role
- Build and deploy end-to-end AI product features across frontend, backend, and AI orchestration.
- Develop agentic AI workflows, retrieval systems, and document-processing solutions.
- Create evaluation frameworks, testing capabilities, and observability tooling.
- Build APIs, integrations, and user-facing applications using modern engineering practices.
- Take ownership of AI products from proof of concept through to production deployment.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience building and deploying AI products into production.
- Strong Python skills, with TypeScript experience highly desirable.
- Experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks, RAG, and AI workflow orchestration.
- Strong experience working with text, document-processing, or knowledge-management use cases.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals including Docker, CI/CD, and API development.
- Comfortable taking ownership of projects and delivering measurable business impact.
- Previous experience in a startup, scale-up, product-focused business, or small engineering team would be highly advantageous.
- Azure, Kubernetes, and Node.js experience would be beneficial.
