About the Job
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and cloud AI services.
The AI Engineer will work closely with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to develop scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Hybrid Working
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Generative AI Development
- Design and develop multi-agent AI-powered applications using LLMs and Generative AI technologies.
- Build intelligent assistants, AI copilots, chatbots, and business process automation solutions.
- Develop and optimize prompt engineering frameworks and model interactions.
- Integrate enterprise applications with AI services and APIs.
- Implement AI solutions that address business and operational challenges.
RAG & Agentic AI Solutions
- Design and develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Build AI agents capable of interacting with enterprise systems, APIs, and databases.
- Implement vector search, embeddings, and semantic retrieval capabilities.
- Develop Text-to-SQL and natural language query solutions.
- Utilize frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and Semantic Kernel.
Data Integration & AI Engineering
- Develop data pipelines to support AI and machine learning workloads.
- Integrate structured and unstructured enterprise data with AI applications.
- Build reusable AI services, APIs, and microservices.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained.
- Support semantic search and knowledge management solutions.
Deployment, Monitoring & Optimization
- Deploy AI solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Implement MLOps and LLMOps practices for model lifecycle management.
- Monitor model performance, accuracy, latency, and cost.
- Optimize AI applications for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for AI solutions.

Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or Data Engineering, including 2+ years building Generative AI applications.
- Strong expertise in LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, MCP, NLP, Prompt Engineering, and Conversational AI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, Gemini, and Hugging Face.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, REST APIs, FastAPI/Flask, and Git for developing scalable, production-ready AI applications.
- Experience with vector databases, semantic search, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval systems using Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, and FAISS.
- Strong cloud and DevOps expertise across Azure, AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, MLOps, and LLMOps.
- Knowledge of AI security, governance, responsible AI practices, and experience delivering solutions in regulated industries such as Banking, Financial Services, and Healthcare.
