Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site AI Engineer (Mid–Senior) role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The AI Engineer will design, build, and optimize machine learning and AI-driven features that enhance task management, real-time monitoring, and decision-making across field operations. - Developing and training models
- Implementing pattern recognition and NLP solutions
- Integrating neural network–based systems into the Build Halt platform in collaboration with product and engineering teams
The role involves:
- Writing production-grade software
- Participating in architecture and code reviews
- Ensuring AI components are scalable, secure, and maintainable
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and clean coding practices.
- Experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, including designing, training, and deploying models in production environments.
- Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) for building features such as smart task handling, text analysis, or conversational interfaces.
- Proficiency with modern ML/AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and experience deploying models via APIs or microservices.
- Comfort working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data pipelines, including version control and CI/CD tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience building AI solutions for operational, logistics, or field-based workflows is beneficial; familiarity with team operations or project management tools is a plus.
