AI Engineer | London SE1 | Hybrid, 3 days on-site | £80,000 – £90,000 DOE

The Role

A household name UK consumer services business, sitting on tens of millions of operational events a year. The kind of dataset most AI teams only dream about. A year ago there was no AI function. Now there's Data Science, Data Engineering, Product and AI Engineering, squadding up around a problem and owning the product end to end.

What comes next is yours to build

  • Take ML and AI systems from ideation to production, and stay with them afterwards
  • Build GenAI applications on LLMs and orchestration frameworks, with evaluation, safety and cost designed in from day one
  • Write clean, production-grade Python for cloud-native environments
  • CI/CD, containerisation, monitoring, observability as standard
  • Watch live models for drift and degradation, and act on it
  • Turn business problems into AI solutions, then explain them to people who don't speak Python

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Azure & Databricks — not expert level, but real cloud experience you can talk through.
  • MLOps — CI/CD, containerisation, monitoring, evaluation frameworks.
