Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an AI Engineer, working closely with consultants and technology leaders to design, prototype, and implement AI solutions for client projects.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Developing and evaluating machine learning models
  • Applying pattern recognition and neural network techniques
  • Leveraging NLP to solve real-world business and security problems

The AI Engineer will:

  • Collaborate with software developers to integrate AI components into secure products and platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards
  • Conduct technical research, experimenting with emerging AI tools and frameworks, and documenting approaches and outcomes in a clear, client-friendly manner
  • Participate in technical reviews, help refine AI strategy for clients, and contribute to internal best practices and reusable assets

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
  • Practical experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for building and optimizing machine learning models.
  • Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text classification, entity extraction, and conversational AI.
  • Proficiency in Software Development (e.g., Python, Java, or similar), including version control, testing, and integration of AI services.
  • Experience with modern AI and ML frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and cloud AI services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with secure development practices, data privacy, and working with regulated or security-sensitive environments is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time workloads effectively, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
