AI Engineer | London | Hybrid | £90,000

Join a leading critical issues firm advising the world’s leading companies how to navigate critical issues and manage stakeholder engagement. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing AI team, with the company on a journey to leverage AI and data science to enhance operations.

This role involves developing and maintaining existing AI applications in conjunction with our existing team, suiting an individual with previous experience of developing and managing these applications (particularly LLMs). Also, responsibility will be taken over the designing, development, deployment, and maintenance of new AI applications with the mindset fixed towards providing multiple business use cases which drive operational and commercial outcomes. You will also take ownership of research tasks, analysing datasets using a variety of statistical and machine learning techniques, whilst having a genuine interest in the evolving AI landscape and market. Additionally, the successful candidate will enjoy working with autonomy and be a creative problem solver with a commitment to the deliverance of high-quality solutions.

You will bring:

  • Experience building LLM solutions and a deep understanding of the wider AI landscape
  • Experience in dataset design, running model evaluations, and fine-tuning foundation models to improve performance on tasks
  • Strong Python development experience, including writing production-quality code
  • Experience with front-end languages (JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS)
  • Understanding of statistics and ML theory
  • An undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science), or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to communicate technical information at all levels
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
