AI Engineer

London (Hybrid, 3 days per week) | Up to £85,000

The Role

You will:

  • Design, build and deploy production-grade AI and machine learning solutions
  • Develop applications using LLMs, Generative AI technologies and modern Python frameworks
  • Own projects from technical discovery through to deployment and ongoing optimisation
  • Work closely with product, engineering and business stakeholders to solve operational and customer-focused challenges
  • Build scalable, robust solutions using cloud-based technologies
  • Drive best practice across MLOps, monitoring, evaluation and production engineering
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards
  • Take a leading role within project teams, with scope to grow into a technical leadership position

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience delivering AI or machine learning solutions
  • Experience across the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including deployment and monitoring
  • Strong Python engineering skills
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally Azure
  • Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD and containerisation
  • Exposure to LLMs, Generative AI or AI-powered products
  • Ability to discuss technical trade-offs and high-level solution design
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
