About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Microsoft AI Engineer to join our expanding technology team at 83zero Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. This is a hands-on engineering position that requires deep technical expertise and practical experience in building scalable AI applications for enterprise environments. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to translate ideas into functional AI solutions that deliver tangible value, ensuring these solutions are secure, reliable, and compliant with governance standards.
The role involves working mainly with Azure AI services, Microsoft 365 integrations, and related cloud technologies. You will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that transform business processes and enhance decision-making capabilities through AI-driven automation and insights. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess substantial hands-on experience in developing AI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. A strong understanding of cloud-based AI services and practical experience with enterprise application development are essential. Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering AI projects from conception through to deployment in production environments.
Qualifications And Skills Include
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure AI services
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio
- Knowledge of Azure AI Search, RAG, and knowledge-grounded AI applications
- Experience developing AI agents and agentic workflows
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform
- Strong programming skills in Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar languages
- Experience with APIs, system integrations, and cloud security (Microsoft Entra ID)
- Understanding of Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and enterprise data platforms like SharePoint and Dataverse
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of technical and strategic activities, including:
- Designing and building AI applications, copilots, agents, and automated workflows tailored to business needs
- Developing solutions utilizing Azure OpenAI, Azure AI services, and Copilot Studio to enhance enterprise productivity
- Implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and enterprise search solutions using internal business data
- Integrating AI solutions into platforms such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Dataverse to streamline workflows
- Creating robust APIs, connectors, and leveraging Azure services for seamless system integrations
- Developing and refining prompts, agent workflows, and AI tooling to improve performance and user experience
- Managing solutions through all stages: development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization
- Ensuring all AI solutions are secure, compliant, and adhere to governance policies
- Monitoring live AI services, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing improvements for accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborating with technical teams and business users to identify opportunities where AI can add measurable value
