Dex

Dex is an AI recruiter agent that helps you run your job search. Tell Dex your stack, seniority, and what you want to build. We will manage your applications and surface other opportunities that are a fit.

The role

Businesses make their biggest decisions on broken tools. We're fixing that, starting with financial modeling – the worst-tooled form of programming. Our AI add-in for Excel is just the beginning; the long-term vision is an AI operating system for the entire strategic decision lifecycle, a $100bn+ opportunity. We're a small, formidable engineering team, with backgrounds from top-tier institutions.

This isn't a 'vibe coding' role. You'll join a lean team, focused on making our core AI agent smarter. That means improving its harness, tools, and context optimization. You'll own evaluation pipelines, data collection, SFT, and RL, with a clear path to technical leadership. Expect high ownership, deep technical problems, and a 5-day-a-week commitment in our London office.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
