I’m currently looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join a major greenfield Enterprise Knowledge Base (EKB) programme within a leading UK banking organisation.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to help build an enterprise-scale AI platform from the ground up, connecting data and knowledge from platforms including Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow, Teams and other enterprise sources.

πŸ”§ What you’ll be working on:

  • Building enterprise Generative AI / LLM solutions
  • Developing RAG pipelines using embeddings and vector databases
  • Building and integrating AI Agents / Agentic AI
  • Prompt Engineering and Context Engineering, with a strong focus on optimisation and cost
  • Developing AI-powered knowledge discovery and retrieval capabilities
  • Building ingestion and data pipelines for enterprise knowledge
  • Working primarily with Python, SQL, Git and GCP
  • Integrating enterprise platforms through REST APIs
  • Contributing to architecture, technical spikes and target-state design
  • Testing and evaluating AI solutions for performance, reliability and safety

  • Strong Python development

  • Experience taking AI solutions from prototype through to production

⭐ Desirable:

  • LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, Knowledge Graphs, Semantic Search, Responsible AI, AI Evals, re-ranking and caching.
  • LangGraph isn't essential β€” candidates with strong LangChain/RAG/Agentic AI experience and the right engineering mindset will be considered.
