About The Role
167 Solutions Ltd is seeking a talented AI Engineer to join their innovative team remotely, based in the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a developer passionate about AI, Generative AI, and data to work on pioneering projects that push the boundaries of current technology. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying full-stack applications utilizing TypeScript and AWS cloud services. The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, AI integration, and collaborative development within an agile environment. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of commercial software development experience, demonstrating proficiency in full-stack development with TypeScript. Experience working with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB is essential. Candidates should have a proven track record of rapid prototyping and AI-assisted workflows, showcasing their ability to quickly translate ideas into working solutions. Familiarity with AI, Generative AI, and data projects, along with experience in Agile delivery environments, is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities are crucial for success in this role. Candidates must be comfortable working in a hybrid setup from Bristol, combining remote work with office presence as needed.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications leveraging TypeScript for both front-end and back-end components.
- Architect, implement, and maintain cloud-native solutions on AWS, ensuring scalable and secure infrastructure.
- Rapidly prototype new ideas and proofs of concept, utilizing AI and Generative AI tools to accelerate development cycles ("vibe coding").
- Integrate AI, Generative AI, and data-driven features into existing and new products to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Participate actively in Agile workflows, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative development processes.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate concepts into operational software.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and demonstrate progress through regular demos.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, contributing to code reviews and best practices.
- Continuously explore emerging tools, frameworks, and AI capabilities to improve development velocity and product quality.
- Take ownership of features from conception through to deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
