AI Engineer
London (1 day per week in the office)
Up to £80,000
I'm supporting one of the UK's largest transport and infrastructure organisations as they continue to invest heavily in their Data & AI capability.
This is an opportunity to join a growing AI function where you'll help deliver business-facing AI agents and automation solutions that improve decision-making, productivity and access to information across the organisation. You'll be working at the forefront of the company's AI strategy, helping shape how AI is adopted in a large-scale enterprise environment.
The Role
This is a hands-on AI Engineering role focused on designing, building and deploying AI agents using Microsoft technologies. Success will come from combining strong technical capability with an ability to understand business problems and translate them into practical AI solutions.

You'll:
- Build and deploy AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements
- Design scalable, secure and governed AI solutions
- Integrate AI agents with business processes and data platforms
- Monitor and improve agent performance and adoption
What I'm Looking For
Communication is every bit as important as technical capability in this role. They're looking for someone who can engage stakeholders, understand complex business challenges and translate them into effective AI solutions.

You'll likely have:
- Experience building AI agents, copilots or automation solutions
- Microsoft Copilot Studio experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience gathering requirements and designing solutions
- Microsoft Fabric or enterprise data platform experience
