📍 Remote, UK | Permanent - Travel as required

We're looking for an experienced AI Engineering & Consulting Lead to shape, grow and lead a high-impact AI capability. This is a rare opportunity to sit at the crossroads of AI engineering, consulting, commercial growth, and technical leadership.

You'll help clients move from idea and experimentation to secure, governed, production-scale AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.
What you'll do
As a senior leader, you'll: 🔹 Lead AI discovery workshops, client engagements and strategic conversations 🔹 Shape winning proposals and commercially viable solutions 🔹 Provide technical leadership across modern AI technologies, architectures and platforms 🔹 Stay hands-on with selected client projects and remain close to delivery 🔹 Drive engineering excellence across MLOps, LLMOps, testing, security, governance and AI evaluation 🔹 Mentor and develop talented AI engineers and technical specialists 🔹 Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to build pipeline and win new opportunities 🔹 Turn successful client solutions into repeatable propositions, accelerators and intellectual property 🔹 Help shape the future direction and growth of the AI capability

What we're looking for
You'll likely already be: ✔ Leading an AI capability, practice, or centre of excellence OR ✔ A Principal, Lead or Director-level AI professional ready for your next career-defining challenge
You'll bring: ✅ Deep expertise in LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, vector databases, embeddings and AI evaluation ✅ Proven experience taking AI solutions from prototype to production ✅ Strong software engineering and cloud platform experience ✅ MLOps/LLMOps expertise ✅ Strong consulting and client-facing skills ✅ Commercial awareness and experience supporting pre-sales activities ✅ A passion for building teams, capabilities and market-leading AI solutions
