AI Engineering Lead (Senior Manager)
Salary: £130,000 - £170,000 + Bonus
Location: Hybrid in London - 2 days per week
We're supporting a leading financial services organisation undergoing significant investment across Data, AI and advanced decisioning capabilities.
This is a newly created technical leadership opportunity within a business-critical function where you'll play a key role in shaping how AI and machine learning solutions are engineered, deployed and scaled within a highly regulated environment.
The Opportunity:
You'll lead the development of production-grade AI and ML capabilities, helping transform advanced analytics and decisioning strategies into scalable, real-world solutions that drive measurable business impact.

Working across Engineering, Data Science, Product and senior business stakeholders, you'll help build the platforms, standards and capabilities needed to accelerate AI adoption at enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, deployment and optimisation of AI and machine learning solutions in production environments
- Drive AI platform, MLOps and engineering best practices to improve scalability, reliability and governance
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to deliver AI-powered decisioning capabilities
- Build and develop a high-performing AI engineering capability, providing technical leadership and mentoring

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience delivering production-grade AI, machine learning or advanced analytics solutions
- Strong background in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering or MLOps
- Experience building scalable platforms, frameworks and deployment capabilities for AI products
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience operating within large, complex organisations
