AI Engineering Manager

Home Based
£80,000 - £95,000 (dependent on experience) + Discretionary Bonus & Benefits

A PE-backed education technology business with approximately 1,400 employees is looking for an experienced and dynamic AI Engineering Manager to accelerate AI adoption, automation, and the delivery of end-to-end AI solutions across the organisation.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an AI professional with an innovation-first mindset who is focused on turning emerging technology into tangible business value. The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming how the organisation operates, supporting its staff, students, and partners through practical and scalable AI solutions.

The role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, automation, product development, and business transformation, with responsibility for taking AI initiatives from initial ideation through to deployment, adoption, monitoring, and ongoing optimisation.

The Role

The AI Engineering Manager will lead the delivery lifecycle of AI solutions, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can create meaningful value.

The role will involve hands-on development and architecture across Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Power Platform, and ChatGPT, alongside the integration of existing AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot into enterprise applications.

The successful candidate will also establish the governance, monitoring, and engineering practices required to ensure AI solutions are robust, secure, measurable, and capable of delivering sustained business value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
