AI Engineering Manager - Gen AI
£95,000 + bonus + excellent benefits / Pension
Location: London – 2 days per week
I'm currently working with a company at the forefront of the payments industry as they look to bring in an AI Engineering Manager to help shape and grow their AI capability.
You'll be combining hands-on AI/GenAI engineering with people leadership, working across the development and delivery of practical AI solutions while leading and mentoring a small team.

- Strong hands-on AI/ML/GenAI engineering experience
- Proven experience building and delivering GenAI/LLM solutions
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, AI agents or similar GenAI technologies
- Strong experience with Microsoft’s AI stack, ideally Azure AI, Azure AI Foundry / Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio and Microsoft Fabric
- Experience taking AI solutions from PoC through to production
- Experience mentoring, coaching or technically leading other engineers/data professionals
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience translating business problems into practical AI solutions

Microsoft experience is highly desirable, but strong AWS, GCP or other modern AI platform experience will also be considered
