AI Engineer | London, UK | 1-Year Contract | Multi-Year Programme
About the role
Partnering with a Leading Financial Services Organization, we are seeking an AI Engineer (1-Year Contract, Extend/Perm) to build and deliver Data, AI Analytics and Agentic AI solutions, working closely with business and technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI and GenAI solutions using modern LLM frameworks.
- Build and enhance AI applications leveraging Feature Engineering, Graph Solutions, and agentic workflows.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Support AI solutions for compliance, governance, risk, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Monitor, optimise, and maintain AI models and applications in production environments.

Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or a related field, ideally from start-ups.
- Demonstrated expertise in Python, leveraging libraries and data preprocessing.
- Experience building RAG, LangGraph, or intelligent automation solutions.
- Exposure to Knowledge Graphs, Feature Engineering, and Feature-Engine is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting governance, or regulatory-related initiatives is advantageous.
- Immediately available or on short notice in UK is preferred.
