AI Enterprise Architect with Financial Service Experience Required
Home Based. Pro-rata £100,000 - 115,000 + bonus + benefits
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A FTC FOR 6 MONTHS AND YOU WILL BE ON THE CLIENT'S PAYROLL
Financial Service client is looking for an AI Enterprise Architect with knowledge of modern engineering practices to help shape the direction of their technology. In this hands-on and strategic role you will be responsible for defining the technology roadmap, architecture standards and approach to emerging technologies, specifically AI.
Working across the business (but with no direct reports) you will ensure technology investments support business goals, regulatory requirements and are aligned to long term strategy. You will be an enabler who will bring measurable outcomes and business impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Define the enterprise AI strategy, principles and architecture.
- Ensure AI adoption aligns with internal policies, security and risk appetite.
- Provide architecture leadership across the company.
- Act as an enabler - unblocking teams and producing measurable outcomes.
- Own and maintain effective architecture governance.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong experience as a hands-on technology leader/ sole Enterprise Architect gained in a regulated environment (Financial Services or Insurance).
- Strong and proven AI strategy and governance experience.
- Good data/ AI leadership experience.
- Knowledge of modern engineering practices (platform-first, DevOps, IaC, CI/CD etc).
- Stakeholder management.
- Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, security, resilience and regulatory requirements.

This is a fantastic and key role within an established financial service company. A technologist at heart, you will have excellent and proven AI and EA experience gained in an FS environment.
