Responsibilities
Neptune North are launching a new initiative known as AI Foundry. We are forming a team of versatile, entrepreneurial technology professionals who will be charged with building, deploying and managing a suite of AI-augmented and highly customisable multi-tenant business applications. These products will save time, improve user experience, and reduce costs for a carefully-controlled list of high-value customers in the financial services domain. We are looking for an experienced product manager to orchestrate the full lifecycle of software delivery co-ordinate the transition of each product from initial single-client rollout through to broader commercial exploitation. The role combines elements of product ownership, product management and delivery management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the end-to-end product roadmap for AI Foundry, our AI-native application delivery platform, aligning priorities across commercial and engineering teams
- Act as the primary product point of contact for senior client stakeholders across our financial services and defence engagements, translating complex business needs into a clear, actionable product vision
- Partner closely with the internal engineering team to define, sequence and prioritise the backlog, balancing client commitments against platform scalability and reusability
- Lead product discovery for new AI Foundry capabilities
- Define and track success metrics such as adoption, performance and business value for AI Foundry initiatives, reporting progress to leadership and client sponsors
- Manage the trade-off between bespoke client requirements and building a reusable, multi-tenant AI Foundry capability
- Support the Management team in scoping and shaping new AI Foundry engagements, including input into proposals, pricing and statements of work
- Ensure product delivery adheres to relevant regulatory, security and governance requirements across our regulated client base

What makes a great candidate
- A proven track record as a Product Manager delivering business-critical applications and/or software engineering platforms
- Experience engaging with senior, C-suite or Director-level client stakeholders, comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex commercial relationships
- Strong technical fluency in AI concepts, especially LLMs and their deployment in production environments, sufficient to challenge and collaborate credibly with engineering and data science teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to flex confidently between technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build and prioritise a product roadmap that balances multiple client needs against a shared platform
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience contributing to proposals, scoping exercises or business cases
- Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-scaling, entrepreneurial environment
- An Undergraduate Degree in a relevant subject

- Experience within financial services, private capital, insurance or defence sectors
- Experience working within a joint venture, matrixed or multi-stakeholder organisational structure

Interview Process
- Aptitude Test – The next step is to complete a speed-driven aptitude assessment.
- Management Interviews – You will meet with members of our Management Team. These will be a combination of technical questions and an assessment of team and cultural fit.
- Technical Interview – As a final step you will meet 1-2 other team members for a technical interview.
- Offer – Successful candidates will receive a formal offer, subject to reference and right-to-work checks.
