The Opportunity
BlueFire AI is looking for exceptional recent graduates — Bachelor’s or Master’s, from Commerce, Finance, Economics, and related programmes — to join us full-time this Autumn. You will work directly with Emmalyn at the intersection of technology, product, and commercial verticals.
This is a rare opportunity to fuse finance expertise with algorithmic intelligence in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Day to day, that means conducting model research, mining complex market trends, and proving out the product’s wide applicability across commercial use cases across equity and credit markets. It is a role built for young professionals who want their analytical judgement to shape a product used by the institutions that move global capital.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Validation. Reviewing Emmalyn’s Quick Notes — our fact-based research summaries on companies — on a daily basis, and confirming they hold up against the underlying reality of each business.
- Supporting product development. Applying model research and prompt-engineering skills to improve the quality, coverage, and reliability of Emmalyn’s output.
- Producing market assets. Working with Emmalyn to create accessible, actionable asset sales — thematics, sector and industry trend pieces, and case studies on global companies.
- Working across the teams. Collaborating across technology, product, and commercial teams to assist strategy and product development, turning customer insights into tangible product improvements and commercial outcomes.
- Supporting quality assurance. Conducting and supporting the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process ahead of releases.
- Enabling the commercial team. Building presentations, talk tracks, and strategic assets that support client conversations and the firm’s vertical teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
