AI / GPU Infrastructure Architect - NVIDIA HPC
Outside IR35 | 6 Months+ | UK / Remote
I'm working with a rapidly growing organisation building out large-scale NVIDIA GPU infrastructure for AI/HPC workloads.
They're looking for a senior Infrastructure / Platform Architect who has genuinely designed and deployed GPU clusters - ideally someone who understands how the full environment fits together across compute, high-speed fabric, storage and platform infrastructure.
This isn't an AI/ML development position or a role focused purely on operating workloads once the platform is live. The focus is the underlying infrastructure and architecture required to build high-performance GPU environments at scale.

The Work Will Include:
- Architecture and deployment of large-scale NVIDIA GPU/HPC infrastructure
- Designing multi-node GPU environments across compute, network and storage
- NVIDIA HGX/DGX platforms, including H100/H200 and ideally Blackwell
- High-speed GPU fabrics including InfiniBand, RoCE/RDMA, NVLink/NVSwitch and Spectrum-X
- Kubernetes and/or Slurm-based GPU environments
- High-performance storage and GPUDirect RDMA/Storage
- Bare-metal Linux infrastructure
- GPU cluster commissioning, validation and performance testing
- Producing HLDs, LLDs, topology diagrams and technical documentation
- Working across networking, storage, platform and data-centre engineering teams

I'm particularly interested in engineers who have previously worked on AI Factories, GPU SuperPODs, NeoCloud infrastructure, HPC clusters or similarly large accelerated-compute environments.
Experience with automation such as Ansible, Terraform, Python or Bash would also be useful.
This is a specialist requirement, so I'm happy to speak with people who don't tick every box but have strong hands-on experience designing or deploying production NVIDIA GPU infrastructure.
