About the Job
Capgemini's Insights & Data practice helps leading organizations harness data, AI, and analytics to drive innovation, efficiency, and transformation. As part of our global Scale Agentic Squad, the AI Solution Leader plays a critical role in helping clients design and adopt enterprise-scale Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions.
Working closely with an AI Growth Leader in a "two-in-a-box" model, you will serve as the technical lead for strategic AI opportunities, shaping solution architecture, designing business-focused AI propositions, and creating the demonstrations and prototypes that bring those solutions to life. You will work directly with client technology leaders, helping organizations move from AI ambition to production-ready solutions that deliver measurable business value.
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
As an AI Solution Leader, you will serve as the technical lead for Capgemini's most strategic AI transformation opportunities, helping clients move from experimentation to enterprise-scale adoption of Generative AI and Agentic AI. Working in a "two-in-a-box" partnership with the AI Growth Leader, you will combine deep architecture expertise, consulting skills, and business acumen to define innovative solutions that address complex business challenges while delivering measurable value. You will be a trusted advisor to client executives, technology leaders, and architects, shaping AI strategies, target architectures, and implementation roadmaps that enable organizations to realize the full potential of AI.
You will play a pivotal role throughout the pre-sales and early delivery lifecycle, leading discovery sessions, assessing business and technical requirements, architecting scalable AI solutions, and creating compelling demonstrations and proof-of-value initiatives. By partnering with account teams, delivery leaders, and strategic technology partners, you will help clients confidently navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead discovery workshops with business and technology stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases, business outcomes, and transformation opportunities.
- Define end-to-end solution architectures for Generative AI and Agentic AI programmes, ensuring alignment to business objectives, technical requirements, and enterprise standards.
- Design enterprise-scale AI architectures covering agent orchestration, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge management, integrations, governance, security, and observability.
- Assess client technology landscapes, data estates, cloud platforms, and security frameworks to establish the foundations required for successful AI adoption.
- Own solution design activities during strategic pursuits, including architecture, delivery approach, scope definition, effort estimation, technical risks, and governance.
- Develop tailored demonstrations, prototypes, and proof-of-value solutions that showcase AI capabilities and accelerate client decision-making.
- Partner closely with the AI Growth Leader to shape client opportunities, create compelling proposals, and articulate business and technical value to executive stakeholders.
- Engage directly with CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, CDOs, and security leaders to define target-state architectures and AI adoption strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and design authority during the early stages of programme delivery, ensuring successful transition from solution design to implementation.
- Collaborate with strategic partners including Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Mistral AI to incorporate leading technologies into client solutions.
- Drive the development of reusable reference architectures, accelerators, demos, and solution assets that strengthen Capgemini's AI capabilities globally.
- Mentor architects, consultants, and delivery teams, helping to build enterprise AI solutioning expertise across the wider organization.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging AI trends, technologies, and market developments to continuously evolve Capgemini's AI offerings and architectural best practices.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and thought leader, representing Capgemini in executive client forums, innovation workshops, industry events, and strategic transformation discussions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
