Role Description
The AI Implementation Strategist volunteer role is a hybrid position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves assessing client business processes, data lakes, integration requirements, training teams and identifying opportunities where AI and automation can provide accurate, reliable and timely damage assessment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research on relevant AI tools and platforms, mapping solutions to client needs, and supporting the design of implementation plans and roadmaps. The strategist will collaborate with advisors and stakeholders to test assumptions, refine use cases, prepare clear documentation and presentations, and help track outcomes from pilot initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in applying AI in strategy and transformation projects while contributing meaningfully to client engagements.

- Ability to understand business models and processes, with interest or experience in business turnaround, growth strategy, or transformation.
- Knowledge of AI concepts and tools (e.g., machine learning, large language models, analytics platforms) and how they can be applied to real business problems.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create structured documentation, presentations, and concise briefs for stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing time independently, and collaborating with diverse teams and clients.
- Relevant academic background or practical experience in fields such as business, economics, data science, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior exposure to consulting, strategy work, or technology implementation projects is beneficial but not essential.
