Job Description
As a senior engineer at Machenta, you will own the design and optimization of large-scale AI training infrastructure. You will scale model training across GPU clusters, ensuring compute efficiency and high throughput. This hands-on role involves building distributed systems to enable robots to learn tasks from a single demonstration at human-level speeds.

- Design and optimize large-scale distributed training systems using PyTorch, NCCL, DeepSpeed, and Megatron-LM across hundreds of GPUs.
- Scale training on cloud infrastructure (AWS) while maximizing GPU utilization and throughput for modern accelerators like H100s and B200s.
- Profile and optimize the full training stack, including networking, storage, and data pipelines, to ensure maximum efficiency of the compute budget.
The ideal candidate
- Proven experience building and optimizing distributed training systems for large transformer-based neural networks across tens or hundreds of GPUs.
- Deep technical understanding of the AI hardware/software stack and performance profiling for modern accelerators such as NVIDIA H100/H200 series.
- Strong background in managing large-scale data pipelines and cloud infrastructure, ideally with experience training models on image or point cloud data.
