Pagos Consultants is expanding its specialist technology recruitment capability and is looking for an experienced recruiter with a strong understanding of the AI ecosystem, particularly AI infrastructure, engineering and deep-tech markets.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of venture-backed technology, AI and executive search, partnering with founders and engineering leaders building some of the most technically ambitious companies in the market.
The Role
You will lead senior and highly technical searches across the AI infrastructure ecosystem, working directly with technical founders, CTOs, VPs of Engineering and other senior stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who can go beyond matching keywords to a job description. You should be able to understand what a company is building, why its technical challenges matter, how its engineering organisation needs to evolve and where the strongest talent is likely to sit.
You will be expected to map emerging markets, identify difficult-to-find technical talent, engage senior candidates credibly and manage searches from initial market research through to successful placement.

- AI hardware and compute

What We're Looking For
Ideally, you will already have experience recruiting within one or more of the following markets:
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
- Infrastructure software
- Cloud computing
- Data infrastructure
- Developer tools
- Deep-tech
- High-performance computing
- Semiconductor or AI hardware markets
You should be comfortable:
- Running senior and specialist searches end to end
- Speaking credibly with technical founders and engineering executives
- Understanding complex engineering requirements and translating them into a clear candidate search strategy
- Mapping emerging and fast-moving technology markets
- Identifying talent beyond obvious LinkedIn searches
- Building relationships with passive senior candidates
- Assessing technical career histories and understanding the relevance of different engineering environments
- Advising clients on candidate availability, market dynamics and compensation
- Managing multiple high-priority searches simultaneously

We are offering above basic salary plus bonuses On target earnings £160k uncapped.
