AI Innovation Manager Opportunity
This is a fantastic and somewhat unique opportunity for an AI Innovation Manager to join an award-winning creative agency. Clients come to them for intelligent strategy, stand-out creativity, and memorable campaigns that leave a mark and deliver real results. They harbour a unique blend of industry expertise and entrepreneurial spirit and have over 20 years of experience developing brands and creating marketing communications across a variety of channels.
The Role
Although AI tools are already embedded within certain areas of the business, they are now seeking a commercially minded AI specialist and dedicated leader to systemise, scale, and commercialise AI enablement across the agency.
Responsibilities
- Work methodically with each department to audit current AI usage
- Identify efficiency, quality, and margin improvements
- Design and implement structured AI workflows and governance
- Measure and report financial impact
- Identify opportunities to productise proprietary AI tools or services

Your objective will be simple: Increase agency efficiency, profitability, and competitive advantage through intelligent AI integration.
Process
The process will start with you conducting AI capability reviews across: Creative, Artwork, Strategy, Copy, Motion, Digital Development, Finance, and Client Services after which you will:
- Map current processes and identify automation, acceleration, or augmentation opportunities
- Create a 12–24 month AI roadmap aligned with commercial objectives
- Define clear KPIs for productivity, cost saving, and revenue generation

Involvement

Ideal Attributes
- Strong ICT or technical background
- Hands-on experience using generative AI tools in commercial environments
- Ability to translate technical capability into business outcomes
- Process design and systems thinking
- Strong analytical capability with financial literacy
- Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience in a creative, marketing, or digital agency environment
- Exposure to automation tools (e.g. API integrations, workflow automation platforms)
- Experience building internal tools or lightweight products
- Understanding of SaaS commercial models
