Salary Up To £36,000pa | London Office/Hybrid Working

Our client, a leading European IP law firm, is actively and urgently recruiting for a Paralegal to join them on a 12-month fixed-term contract in their London office – working as a Knowledge Paralegal, focusing on AI.

Working in their wider Knowledge Team, headed up by the Knowledge Director, your focus will be on supporting the firm’s AI initiatives to create clear guidance that sets out how the firm uses AI well in practice.

As the successful AI Knowledge Paralegal, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Supporting the Knowledge Team in developing and maintaining AI-enabled workflows
  • Assisting with the drafting and maintenance of clear guidance for Fee-Earners
  • Tracking changes in AI tools and models
  • Gathering feedback on where AI can meaningfully support the firm
  • Acting as a point of contact for Fee-Earners using AI tools, supporting when possible
  • Supporting the Knowledge Team and relevant groups in reviewing and refining AI-related processes

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have/be the following:

  • Have completed law degree (LLB or GDL)
  • Have knowledge of IP law (desirable, not essential)
  • Have experience using AI tools in a law firm (essential)
  • Be able to commit to a 12-month fixed-term contract
  • Be able to commute to the London on a hybrid basis
  • Ideally, the successful candidate will have a STEM background

This role could suit someone with the above experience who is open to a new long-term FTC, or a Future Trainee with 12 months availability and has experience using AI in a law firm.
