Role Overview
The AI-Led OT Architect helps clients transform operational technology (OT) environments through the application of artificial intelligence, industrial data platforms, and digital engineering. The role sits at the intersection of OT, IT, and AI, designing architectures that connect industrial assets, control systems, and enterprise platforms to enable predictive, autonomous, and data-driven operations. This is a client-facing consulting role combining solution architecture, delivery leadership, business development support, and innovation. You will work with asset-intensive industries, mainly in utilities, helping clients unlock value from AI-enabled operations, industrial digital twins, predictive maintenance, operational optimization, and intelligent automation. Drawing on expertise in OT systems, industrial data architectures, cloud platforms, and AI technologies, you will shape client strategies, lead engagements, develop propositions, and accelerate adoption of Industrial AI solutions.
What You Will Do
- Lead Industrial AI and OT Transformation Programmes
- Define and deliver AI-enabled OT architectures that connect operational technology environments with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and advanced analytics capabilities.
- Support clients in transforming traditional operations into intelligent, connected enterprises.
- Architect solutions integrating:
- SCADA platforms
- Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- PLC and RTU environments
- Historian platforms (OSI PI, Canary, etc.)
- IoT and edge computing platforms
- Enterprise Asset Management solutions (SAP PM, S/4HANA, IBM Maximo, IFS)
- Data platforms including Azure, AWS, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric
- Deliver AI-Powered Operational Use Cases
- Lead the design and implementation of solutions for:
- Predictive maintenance
- Asset performance management
- Anomaly detection
- Failure prediction
- Root cause analysis
- Energy optimization
- Production optimization
- Digital worker capabilities
- Intelligent alarm management
- Autonomous operations
- Lead the design and implementation of solutions for:
- Establish frameworks for:
- Data governance
- Data quality
- Asset hierarchies
- Metadata management
- Industrial data models
- AI model lifecycle management
- Responsible AI in industrial environments
- Support sales and growth activities by:
- Shaping opportunities
- Developing proposals
- Leading client workshops
- Conducting assessments
- Creating solution demonstrations
