AI & Machine Learning Engineer

UK | Hybrid | Permanent

Defence | National Security | Advanced Technology

We are looking for experienced AI & Machine Learning Engineers to work on advanced technology programmes across Defence, National Security and secure environments. These opportunities involve applying AI and Machine Learning to complex, real-world problems where performance, reliability and the ability to deploy technology into operational environments really matter.

Areas of Interest

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across one or more of the following areas:

  • Machine Learning and Deep Learning
  • Applied AI
  • Computer Vision
  • Sensor Fusion and multi-modal data
  • Signal Processing and Time Series
  • Reinforcement Learning
  • Generative AI and Foundation Models
  • MLOps and production ML
  • Edge AI
  • Autonomous Systems
  • AI Assurance, Explainability and Responsible AI
  • Model deployment, monitoring and optimisation

Security Clearance

Previous Defence experience is not essential for every position. However, due to the nature of some of the programmes, candidates may need to be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. Candidates already holding SC or DV clearance are particularly encouraged to apply.
