I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You may be asked to appear in LAF content, demonstrations, campaigns or other creative projects, so you should be comfortable being filmed and representing LAF on camera when required.
The Person
You might be a marketer, filmmaker, YouTube creator, animator, producer, storyteller, creative technologist or someone who has simply started building things with AI.
What matters is that you build, test and learn.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t simply use AI to produce content faster, but thinks about how technology can create better content, stronger audiences and new commercial opportunities.
What LAF Offers
- Global remote working.
- The opportunity to work with emerging AI and creative technologies.
- Work across content, marketing, social media and digital projects.
- Exposure to creators, brands and creative professionals globally.
- Opportunities to contribute to film, theatre and entertainment projects.
- The ability to help shape LAF’s digital and creative direction.
This is a role for someone who wants to build, experiment and create, rather than simply manage a content calendar.
Application
Please provide examples of your previous work wherever possible.
This could include social media accounts, YouTube channels, AI content, photography, filming, animation, marketing campaigns, websites, creative projects or anything you’ve built yourself.
We’re interested in what you’ve actually created, not simply a list of software you know how to use.
