Location: Fully Remote – UK

Job Type: Part-Time / Flexible Pay: UK National Minimum/National Living Wage, based on applicable statutory rate Working Hours: Should be flexible to work in varied hours throughout the day – subject to task availability and deadlines Preferred: Ongoing University students and recent graduates UK Right to Work is mandatory. About the Role

We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to support the training and improvement of advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) models. The role involves reviewing, evaluating and improving AI-generated responses, completing structured model-training tasks, and providing high-quality human feedback that helps improve the accuracy, reasoning and overall performance of AI systems. This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours, making it particularly suitable for university students who would like to gain practical exposure to Generative AI and AI model training alongside their studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, clarity and completeness.
  • Compare multiple AI responses and determine which better satisfies a given task or set of requirements.
  • Identify factual, logical, reasoning or instruction-following issues in model outputs.
  • Provide clear and structured feedback to improve AI model performance.
  • Write, review and refine prompts and expected responses for model-training exercises.
  • Complete data annotation, categorisation and labelling tasks.
  • Verify information and perform online research where required.
  • Evaluate whether AI responses correctly follow instructions and specified criteria.
  • Review written content for grammar, coherence, factual accuracy and overall quality.
  • Complete assigned AI model-training and evaluation tasks according to provided guidelines.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Follow confidentiality, data-security and project-quality requirements.

Preferred Skills

Previous professional AI experience is not essential. Candidates should ideally have:

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good written English and communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate information objectively against defined criteria.
  • Strong research and fact-checking abilities.
  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions.
  • Confidence working independently in a remote environment.
  • General understanding or interest in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI.
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, Data Science, Machine Learning or programming is advantageous for technical assignments but is not essential for all tasks.

Working Arrangements

This is a 100% remote and flexible role. There are no standard daily working hours. Work can generally be completed during the morning, afternoon, evening or weekends according to individual availability, subject to project requirements, task availability and agreed deadlines. This arrangement is intended to allow students to work around lectures, examinations and other academic commitments. Workers are responsible for accurately recording the time spent completing assigned work.

Compensation

Pay will be provided on an hourly basis in accordance with the applicable UK National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage requirements. The applicable hourly rate will depend on the worker’s age and relevant UK employment requirements.
