AI-Native Growth Marketing Lead

Vets Compared + Vetrics

Location: UK remote-first
Salary: £50,000 + £5,000 target performance bonus
Equity: Meaningful share options, subject to formal grant terms
Employment: Full-time

About Us

We're building two complementary veterinary technology businesses.

Vets Compared helps pet owners find and connect with veterinary care. It already has an organic acquisition engine, veterinary practice data, and established demand across the UK and US.

Vetrics helps veterinary practices deliver better customer experiences while improving the way their businesses operate, combining clinical tools, automation, communication, bookings, and business management.

We want to find repeatable, economically attractive ways to grow both businesses.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a hands-on, AI-native growth marketer.

You'll have a budget for experimentation, direct access to the founder, and responsibility for identifying acquisition channels that actually work.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to spend their time managing agencies or producing marketing calendars.

We want someone who builds campaigns, experiments, landing pages, automations, and measurement systems personally.

You'll develop two different growth engines: a consumer-facing acquisition operation for Vets Compared and a veterinary-practice acquisition strategy for Vetrics.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience with SaaS, marketplaces, or local service acquisition would be useful. Veterinary industry experience is not essential.

What Success Looks Like

You identify acquisition channels we can invest in confidently.

You'll be assessed on the quality and speed of experiments, the reliability of measurement, evidence of commercial viability, and the development of repeatable acquisition systems.

We are not hiring someone simply to increase impressions, followers, or traffic.

What We Offer

  • £50,000 base salary.
  • £5,000 target annual performance bonus.
  • Meaningful equity option opportunity.
  • A funded experimentation programme.
  • Access to modern AI, analytics, and development tools.
  • Remote-first working.
  • Direct involvement in building growth across two complementary businesses.

How to Apply

Send your CV or LinkedIn profile with two examples of acquisition experiments you've personally executed.

For each, explain the hypothesis, your budget, what you built, the results, what you learned, and what happened next.

Please also give one example of a workflow you've built or significantly improved using AI or automation.
