AI-Native Software Engineer
London (Hybrid) | £70,000 to £80,000 + Benefits
Build software with AI, not around it.
We're looking for an experienced AI-Native Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team developing market-leading SaaS products used across the advertising, media and broadcast sectors.
This is a hands-on engineering role for a developer who embraces AI-assisted software development and wants to work on real business challenges across a diverse portfolio of established and innovative products.
Working closely with senior technology leadership and product stakeholders, you'll deliver new features, modernise existing platforms and help drive the adoption of AI-enabled software engineering practices.
What You'll Be Working On
You'll contribute across a portfolio of established SaaS products and bespoke client solutions, including:
- Media trading and workflow platforms
- Audio compliance and monitoring solutions
- Digital advertising and directory products
- Bespoke customer applications and integrations
This role offers a mix of greenfield development, platform enhancement, integration projects and continuous product improvement.

What You'll Be Doing
- Designing, building and enhancing business-critical SaaS applications
- Developing solutions using PHP, SQL and JavaScript
- Delivering new features and improving existing systems
- Leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to accelerate development
- Building automated testing and quality assurance processes
- Contributing to architecture and technical design discussions
- Participating in code reviews and engineering best practices
- Collaborating with Product Owners, Project Managers and stakeholders
- Supporting continuous improvement across engineering processes
- Mentoring developers and sharing technical knowledge
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills
- 5+ years commercial software engineering experience
- Strong PHP development experience
- Advanced SQL skills (MySQL and/or T-SQL)
- JavaScript (ES2015+)
- Object-Oriented Design and software engineering best practices
- Experience developing and supporting SaaS platforms
- Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Automated testing and quality-focused engineering
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
