AI-Native Software Engineer
Salary: Up to £80,000 + Benefits
Location: Remote (UK Only) or Hybrid (London Office)

We're looking for an AI-Native Software Engineer to help redefine how software is designed, delivered and operated in an AI-powered world. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking technology team where you'll solve complex business challenges, influence engineering standards, and help build the frameworks, guardrails and verification systems that enable the delivery of high-quality software at scale.
Rather than focusing solely on writing code, you'll be responsible for building reliable, observable and resilient systems while championing modern AI-native engineering practices. Success in this role is measured by customer outcomes, system reliability and engineering excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing scalable, resilient and observable software systems.
- Translating complex business requirements into clear technical solutions.
- Defining architectural standards, boundaries and best practices.
- Building automated testing, quality and verification frameworks.
- Driving AI-native delivery approaches across engineering teams.
- Capturing and documenting knowledge to improve collaboration between engineers and AI systems.
- Mentoring colleagues and helping evolve engineering capability across the organisation.
- Connecting technical decisions to measurable business outcomes.

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong software architecture and system design experience.
- Deep understanding of testing, quality engineering and observability.
- Experience using AI as a core part of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to define evidence-based approaches to software quality and reliability.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.
- Passion for modern engineering practices and the future of AI-enabled software delivery.
