We are looking for AI Trainers
Elatra is a professional coaching platform that helps organisations grow self-aware, confident and accountable leaders at all levels. Our commitment to excellence drives our business, and we are seeking experienced purpose-driven AI practitioners to join our community of trainers.
About the role
As an AI Trainer, you will work 1:1 with non-tech leaders helping them build confidence and capability in understanding, applying and creating AI automation tools and flows to improve efficiency in their work. Many organisations have already rolled out AI tools and training, but a large group of capable, experienced leaders still struggle to effectively apply what they have learned to their day-to-day work. This is not a training problem, it is an application problem, and you will be the person who helps close that gap.
Key responsibilities
- Closing the knowledge gap
- Answer questions and explain, plainly and without jargon, what today's AI tools genuinely do well, what they do badly, and why.
- Help trainees build real confidence in understanding AI, not just following instructions.

Finding real opportunities
- Sit with your trainee, discuss their workflow, and help them identify where available vetted AI tools could make a meaningful difference in their work.
- Just as importantly, help trainees see where AI will not help, and where trade-offs are needed.

Supporting the building process
- Help trainees build something that works, whether that is an agent, an automation, or a prompt-driven workflow.
- Keep the trainee's hands on the keyboard. Your role is to guide and enable, not to build it for them.
Requirements:
- You are a technical professional with real business exposure, ideally in a customer-facing role (internal or external).
- You have hands-on, current experience building with AI, not just reading about it.
- You are comfortable in working with non-technical professionals, and you can explain technology in simple, accessible language.
- You have excellent communication skills in English, and you are a good listener.
- You can ask good questions about someone else's work before proposing a solution, and comfortable in telling a client when automation is not the right answer.
- You have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically about where AI genuinely helps.
- Formal teaching or training experience is not required. We are looking for AI practitioners who can work alongside someone, not lecture at them.

How this role works
This is not an employment position. AI Trainers work with Elatra in the same way as our professional coaches: as freelance/independent consultants, engaged on a session-by-session basis.
- Work is part-time and flexible, fitted around the trainees you are matched to.
- You are paid a fee per session delivered.
- You manage your engagement taking on as many or as few clients as your own availability allows.
This model gives you the freedom to work independently, while Elatra takes care of matching you with clients, managing the relationship, and handling admin.
