Position: AI - Analyst | Photographer - Japanese
Type: Contractor Assignment
Compensation: $26/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 40 hours/week or 20 hours/week, with at least 4 hours overlap during PST business hours
Role Responsibilities
- Source authentic, high-quality photographs of real-world places, products, and media relevant to the assigned locale.
- Verify that each image is copyright-free, publicly available, explicitly licensed, or original, and document its license type and provenance.
- Conduct multi-step research using Google Search, Google Lens, reverse image search, and other reliable sources to identify and verify image subjects.
- Create cropped, occluded, masked, or degraded image versions that conceal key identifying details while preserving realistic visual clues.

Requirements
- 1+ years of relevant experience in photography, image research, image annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Native or highly fluent Japanese with strong working proficiency in English.
- Strong familiarity with regionally significant but non-touristy landmarks, universities, municipal buildings, and domestic film and media within Japan.
- Comfortable conducting multi-step investigative research using Google Search, Google Lens, and reverse image search.
