About the Role

We are recruiting for a AI Platform Delivery Manager to deliver a global-scale enterprise AI platform. This role will involve leading cross-functional delivery work in collaboration with engineering, AI/ML, and governance teams, ensuring compliant adoption of large language models (LLMs) and AI capabilities across HSBC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI platform initiatives (from planning to execution)
  • Define and manage scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and delivery plans
  • Proactively handle risks, issues, blockers, and escalations to maintain progress
  • Coordinate across engineering (front-end/back-end), AI/ML, and Risk/Compliance/Governance teams to align delivery efforts
  • Translate ambiguous requests into structured, testable requirements (e.g., user stories, functional specifications)
  • Facilitate Agile delivery through:
    • Program/Iteration Planning (PI planning)
    • Sprint ceremonies (meetings)
    • Backlog tracking & prioritisation
    • delivery reporting
  • Ensure technical excellence and alignment with HSBC’s AI, security, and compliance standards

Requirements

You should have:

  • Strong experience as an AI Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst / Delivery Manager
  • Proven success in delivering complex AI technical projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional ability to structure requirements and turn ambiguity into clear scope and actionable plans
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and expertise with:
    • Agile (Scrum, SAFe frameworks)
    • Tooling (Jira, Confluence)
  • "AI-native mindset" (ability to leverage AI-driven approaches to enhance productivity, quality, and decision-making)
  • Experience with AI gateways or managing the LKM lifecycle (Large Language Model lifecycle) is an advantage.
