How You'll Make a Difference
You'll be responsible for building and maintaining the AI platform; designing, building, testing and supporting secure, scalable and well-governed AI solutions that address business needs and deliver measurable value across the Society. Using Microsoft AI technologies, you'll develop AI solutions from experimentation through to production-ready services, working closely with business, architecture, security, risk and data teams. The role will also contribute to reusable engineering standards and ensure AI solutions are delivered in line with regulatory, compliance, information security, data governance and responsible AI requirements.
You will:
- Design, build, test, and support AI solutions using Microsoft CoPilot, Foundry and Studio.
- Develop AI use cases from proof of concept through to production deployment.
- Build secure, scalable, and supportable solutions within Azure environments.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation processes using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, security, risk, and data teams to embed AI capabilities into business processes.
- Support pilot programmes and experimentation activities, helping successful initiatives transition into long-term services.
- Monitor, support, and maintain live AI services to ensure performance, compliance, and reliability.

What will you bring to the role?
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting Microsoft Azure solutions within a regulated enterprise environment.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment templates in Azure DevOps.
- Scripting expertise in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Experience supporting live production platforms, including monitoring, logging, and operational support.
- Practical knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio.
- Understanding of security, risk management, compliance, data governance, and responsible AI principles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
