AI Platform & Tooling Engineer - SC Cleared
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for an AI Platform & Tooling Engineer on a remote basis for an initial 5-month contract.
Job Spec:
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI development and experimentation environments.
- Evaluate emerging AI tooling, frameworks, and technology platforms.
- Build integration services, APIs, and orchestration capabilities.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and operational readiness activities.
- Assess tooling costs, licensing impacts, and infrastructure requirements.
- Develop reusable accelerators, technical assets, and reference implementations.
- Implement security controls, monitoring, and operational guardrails.
- Support continuous improvement and optimization of AI platforms.
- Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams.

Required Technical Competencies
- Software engineering and cloud infrastructure expertise.
- Experience with AI platforms AWS Bedrock and Microsoft Foundry, APIs, and orchestration frameworks.
- Knowledge of Azure AI services and cloud-native architectures.
- DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Cost optimization and cloud consumption management.
- Security, monitoring, and operational support principles.
- Integration and automation technologies.
