AI Practice Lead
Hybrid – London (2-3 days per week)
Want to build an AI Practice rather than inherit one?
We're partnering with a global technology consultancy that's making a major investment in AI across the UK. Backed by an established international AI capability and a strong portfolio of enterprise clients, they're looking for an experienced AI Practice Lead to establish and grow their UK offering.
This isn't a role where you'll disappear into a large corporate machine.
You'll be given the autonomy to shape the practice, influence strategy, win exciting AI engagements and build a team around you, all while remaining technically credible and working alongside some incredibly experienced AI specialists.
What you'll be doing
- Building and leading the UK AI Practice.
- Working directly with enterprise clients to understand business challenges and identify AI opportunities.
- Designing AI and Data solutions that solve real business problems.
- Leading solution architecture and providing technical oversight across client engagements.
- Collaborating with UK stakeholders and global delivery teams.
- Helping shape new AI offerings, accelerators and go-to-market propositions.
- Recruiting, mentoring and developing an AI consulting team as the practice grows.
- Remaining close enough to delivery to provide technical leadership when required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
