We are an established, market-leading technology company providing mission-critical software solutions to leading organisations in complex, highly regulated industries. We’re looking for someone ambitious and AI-native who can operate at the intersection of product, engineering, customers, and commercial teams.
The role will be roughly:
-
50% working closely with Product and Engineering: translating customer and business needs into requirements, working with engineers and technical leads, supporting product planning, backlog refinement, prioritization, delivery, and validation.
-
50% customer and business-facing: joining customer meetings and workshops, understanding customer problems, presenting product concepts, working with Sales and other commercial teams, researching market opportunities, and supporting product plans and roadmaps.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We are not looking for a project coordinator or Jira administrator. We want someone with strong intellectual horsepower, curiosity, and initiative.
Communication skills are absolutely non-negotiable. The person must have genuine presence and the gift of the gab, be able to build rapport quickly, ask intelligent questions, and communicate confidently with customers, engineers, commercial teams, and senior stakeholders.
We are open-minded about background. The person could come from engineering, product, business analysis, technology, consulting, solutions, or pre-sales. Equally, a strong Physics, Maths, Economics, Computer Science, or similar graduate with the right commercial and communication skills could be an excellent fit.

The key requirement is that they are highly technically minded, able to understand complex software and technology concepts quickly, and comfortable working closely with engineering teams while also being able to communicate effectively with customers and the wider business.
Most importantly, we are looking for high potential rather than simply years of experience: someone smart, articulate, commercially aware, technically strong, and naturally able to use AI and modern tools to learn quickly and operate at a level beyond their years of experience.
