Location:

Work Type:

Role

Most AI companies are adding AI into existing products.

This team is doing the opposite.

They're building AI-native products from the ground up.

Backed by one of the world's largest enterprise software businesses, you'll have the freedom to operate like a startup while solving problems for some of the biggest industrial organisations on the planet.

Over the last 12 months they've launched four AI products, grown to more than $10m ARR and are building the next generation of AI applications that will transform how industries such as manufacturing, energy, construction and field services operate.

This isn't about building another chatbot.

You'll work directly with customers, understand complex operational problems, rapidly prototype solutions and turn successful ideas into production AI products that can be deployed across a global customer base.

If you enjoy building products rather than features, you'll feel right at home.

Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for taking AI products from idea through to production, working across engineering, product and customers to solve real-world problems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Building and shipping production AI products using LLMs and Agentic AI.
  • Designing AI workflows, orchestration, retrieval and evaluation pipelines.

  • Designing scalable backend services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Improving AI reliability through evaluation, testing and guardrails.

  • Taking ownership of projects from concept through to deployment.

Required Skills

We're interested in engineers who love building products, not just experimenting with AI.

You'll ideally bring experience across:

  • Strong software engineering with Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Commercial experience building and shipping AI products.
  • Production LLM applications.
  • Agentic AI.
  • RAG and retrieval systems.

More important than any individual technology is your mindset.

We're looking for engineers who:

  • Take ownership.
  • Thrive in ambiguity.
  • Are naturally curious.
  • Have low ego.
  • Enjoy working directly with customers.
  • Like building things from 0 to 1 and scaling them beyond.

Why should I apply?

This is one of the most exciting AI opportunities currently on the market.

You'll join a small, high-performing engineering team where everyone wears multiple hats and has genuine influence over the direction of the product.

Rather than spending months building features that may never be used, you'll work directly with customers, understand their problems first-hand and build AI solutions that create immediate commercial impact.

You'll have the pace and autonomy of a startup, backed by the funding, customer access and stability of a global enterprise software business.

If you enjoy solving difficult engineering problems, owning products end to end and working alongside exceptionally talented people, this is a rare opportunity to help define the future of industrial AI.
