Job Title: AI Product Manager

Location: York

Hybrid - On site 1 day a week.

We’re representing a leading specialist in the insurance sector in the search for a AI Product Manager who can help drive AI adoption, strengthen digital capability, and turn innovation into measurable business impact.

This is a high-visibility opportunity to shape how AI is embedded into day-to-day workflows across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, champions, sponsors, and enablement leads to build momentum, support behavioural change, and deliver practical guidance that makes AI accessible and useful across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage AI adoption and culture across business units under the direction of the Data Culture and AI Lead.
  • Design and deliver role-based enablement that supports practical AI usage across different teams.
  • Lead manager activation activity to help embed new expectations for performance and AI usage.
  • Manage, develop, and maintain AI Hub content, playbooks, prompts, workflow guidance, and role-relevant training materials.
  • Build and manage a network of AI champions, business unit sponsors, and enablement leads.
  • Support integration of AI into performance management activity.
  • Track adoption using measurable indicators and report progress clearly.
  • Identify and escalate blockers to adoption through the CoE and governance processes.

Experience & Skills

  • Strong experience in learning and development, technical education, organisational change, or digital/technology adoption programmes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and digital workplace tools.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business units.
  • Ability to translate AI capability into practical, role-specific guidance.
  • Experience delivering large-scale enablement or transformation activity.
  • Experience with AI, data, or analytics in a business environment is desirable.
  • Experience working with performance management or behavioural change frameworks is desirable.
  • Experience supporting leadership and manager capability development is desirable.
  • Degree in Education, Technology, Business, Psychology, or related discipline, or degree in Law with relevant change, training, or technology adoption experience.
  • Relevant certifications in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, change management, or AI/data literacy are desirable.
